Introducing the 2016 Honda Civic

As one of Honda’s bestselling vehicles, the Honda Civic has long been a roadworthy contender as one of the most versatile, functional, and practical automobiles ever made. The newest incarnation, the innovative 2016 Honda Civic, improves on the previous Civic’s already-impressive design.

Fuel Efficiency

Anyone who is looking for a compact vehicle will find that the new Honda Civic is pretty generous in terms of fuel efficiency. Getting an impressive 27 to 31 miles to the gallon on city roads and 40 to 41 miles per gallon on highways, the new Civic really proves that it’s a great value.

Cabin Space

Space has always been an issue for owners of compact vehicles. Honda heard this concern and added more cabin and cargo space to the newly redesigned 2016 Civic. Passengers now have 90-95 cubic feet of interior cabin space to move around in and an additional 15 cubic feet of cargo space. The new Honda Civic’s spacious and roomy interior and cargo areas are ample enough to keep everyone comfortable.

Previous Civics have been fun to drive, but the newest generation of the Honda Civic gives drivers an out-of-this-world performance that quickly puts all others to shame. With its turbocharged engine going from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than 6.2 seconds, it’s clear that Honda has made some serious modifications under the hood. There is also a continuously variable transmission (CVT) between the crankshaft and constant velocity joints (CVJ) to enable the new Civic to shave seconds off its acceleration speeds. The turbocharged Honda Civic delivers a loaded 162 lb-ft of torque.

Ride quality is one of the best available. Its structure is strong, durable, and stiff so there isn’t much movement or play from the body while on the road. Thick, one-inch anti-roll bars in the front, 0.7-inch anti-roll bars in the rear, the struts, and rear multilink suspension keep the vehicle from wallowing and vibrating.

Although the body style selection is still reminiscent of Honda’s classic sedan style, drivers can also choose the coupe or hatchback. There are several trim levels available, including a Touring edition. The overhauled 2016 Honda Civic is a great choice for drivers who want an attractive vehicle that is as reliable as it is functional.
